Deputy Duck Derby

We are absolutely thrilled to announce the grand return of the highly anticipated Deputy Duck Derby, and it's hard to contain our excitement for Year 3! This incredible event will be taking place as part of our esteemed Faith & Blue weekend on October 5, 2024. So, make sure to mark your calendars and clear your schedules, because from 10am to 2pm, we have an action-packed lineup of festivities prepared just for you.
Now, let's talk about the highlight of the day—the Duck Derby races. Set to take place at 1:00pm, 1:15pm, and 1:30pm, these races will leave you on the edge of your seat as you watch those cheerful rubber duckies glide through the water in a thrilling race. And the best part? You can participate in the excitement yourself! All you need to do is make a generous donation, and in return, you will receive your very own ducks to cheer for during the race. However, it's important to keep in mind that these ducks are meant just for the race—sadly, you won't be able to take them home with you.
But wait, there's more! Our incredible Deputy Duck Derby is not just about the races, it's a full-blown hub of excitement and entertainment. With a diverse range of vendors offering their products, heartfelt prayers being shared, and an exciting game of Dunking Law Enforcement Officers in the dunking booth, there's something for everyone to enjoy. This event truly brings the community together to support a great cause and have a blast while doing so.
This year, we have chosen downtown Springfield as the venue for our Deputy Duck Derby. Our Historical Society will serve as the charming backdrop for all the festivities, adding a touch of timeless ambiance to the day. So, don't miss out on this opportunity to create unforgettable memories with your loved ones. Bring your family and friends along for a day filled with laughter, camaraderie, and the sheer thrill of cheering on your favorite rubber duckies as they race their way to victory.
We can't wait to see you there on October 5, 2024, for an absolutely unforgettable day of fun, community spirit, and wholesome entertainment at the Deputy Duck Derby!
